Are we drinking less in the City?
Where there was once a heavy drinking culture in the industry, particularly in London, Mike says that around 25-30% of the younger people who have recently joined his business generally drink very little to no alcohol. I wonder if this is true for many other firms across the City?
Mike Booth, Managing Partner at Khepri, stopped drinking 2.5 years ago and has since realised how alcohol had been impacting his life, and how he is now able to focus more on his priorities. He shares some of the positives he has unexpectedly experienced from going completely AF, such as:
-
Noticing the everyday joys
-
Gaining more time
-
Balanced moods
-
Less health ‘niggles’

The Ultradian Rhythm
At Resilience Training Co, they believe that “People are amazing & can achieve anything with the right tools”.
Jon is the CEO of Resilience Development Co and former Special Forces Team Leader. Jon’s expertise lies in helping organisations cultivate strong leadership skills, enhance team resilience, and foster a positive organisational culture that yields exceptional outcomes.
What we find appealing about the approach of Resilience Training Co is that they realised that they could make the biggest difference if they reached people where they spend most of their time - at work - so they can thrive in those conditions and can pass the immediately transferable skills onto their loved ones. There are actionable steps and skills to be learned throughout their training, and throughout their teachings, including in the newsletter.

Do you have low testosterone?
The andropause is the term used to describe men whose testosterone levels are low. This can affect 1 in 4 men from the age of 30.
Do you suffer from:
-
Low energy
-
Depression
-
Weakness
-
No motivation
-
No self-confidence
Low testosterone could be the cause.
Following his own struggles with low testosterone, Dr Max Draper left his position as a GP within the NHS and went on a mission to educate himself on testosterone deficiency, helping other males like himself get diagnosis, education and treatment. Max loves to share his knowledge and personal experiences within the men’s health scene. He did a short podcast series to explain his history (https://www.youtube.com/@MaxYourT), and now regularly appears on the Alphagenix podcast. Max has appeared as a guest on several other podcasts.
